budget accommodation 2km from shannonville
with the shannonville event coming up next weekend, I thought some members might like to know that there are still rooms
available at a the salmon river motel, 2km west of the track, for $60/night.

not luxurious, but probably a decent option for those who are comfortable with simple accommodations (i've never stayed there myself,
but i'll be trying it out next weekend).

Hey Colin, thanks for the heads up. I might even go myself considering it's that cheap, definitely a bed is more comfortable than camping!

Dan and I were planning on camping Saturday night... but the more I think about that, the more I lean towards a matress and warm shower. I think we'll "play it by ear", finding out where everyone else is staying and make the decision 5pm Saturday.

Someone at this weekend meet and cruise said they got a room somewhere for under $70, there is also FREE camping at the track!!
